Ocean Fresh is a gorgeous self-catering property in the secure Vista Alta Estate. Situated in a secluded spot in the dune forest, the cottage has limited seaviews and has direct beach access down the dune pathway.

The house is beautifully styled and can accommodate 8 people in 4 bedrooms.

The main house at Ocean Fresh comprises 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom.

The living room has air con and opens onto the large undercover deck with gas braai and pool. There is a TV in the living room, however guests are required to bring own decoder, smart card and remote.

The kitchen is equipped with a standard size fridge/freezer, microwave, stove/oven, kettle, toaster and utensils and cutlery for 8 guests.

There is a large dining table on the deck as well as a comfy lounge suite.

Adjoining the deck is the 3rd bedroom, an airy en-suite bedroom with twin beds and equipped with a ceiling fan.

Situated approximately 15-20m away from the main house, is the 4th bedroom suite. This lovely forested suite has sliding doors opening onto the garden and the fire pit/braai area. This unit is cooled by a ceiling fan.

Set amongst a forested sand dune, Ocean Fresh has intermittent seaviews between the coastal forest. The beach is accessed via a fairly steep path down the dune.

Full payment is required prior to arrival (50% deposit secures and balance is required 1 month prior to arrival). If arrival is within 31 days, then full payment is required

Minimum Stay
During low and high seasons a minimum stay of 3 nights is required. During peak season there is a minimum stay of 7 nights

Breakage Deposit
R3 000.00 – Refundable Breakage deposit is required prior to arrival. This will be refunded within 14 days of departure pending breakages/losses reported.

• Power cuts are generally out of our control. Please make use of the LED energy saver lamps, sit back and enjoy the ambiance.
• Cellphone reception is a challenge that can be a blessing in disguise. The signal is generally available at 360 Restaurant (in the Vista Alta Estate) when needed.
• The Estate uses borehole water which is usually brownish in colour. It is advisable to bring bottled drinking water. Please note we make use of a septic system, don’t flush other products down the toilets besides toilet paper.
• Keys to Ocean Fresh can be collected from the Reception office at Vista Alta Estate after 2 pm. They should be dropped off again on the date of departure between 8am and 10am.
• On collection of the keys, an R1000 Cash key and breakage deposit need to be paid to reception. A form with your banking details as well as your contact details needs to be completed. Any breakages and lost keys and/or remotes will be deducted from this deposit. The balance will be refunded into your bank account 3 to 5 days after departure.
• No smoking indoors
• No pets permitted
• No noise/parties after 22h00

Nice house, well decorated and maintained set in pretty surroundings (birds, monkeys etc.).

The domestic worker and pool cleaner did their jobs. I think they are shared between several houses so if there’s more people I suspect they would need more help.

When it’s as hot and humid as it was when we were there it can be uncomfortable. We didn’t read the fine print carefully that aircon is in one room only. If the temperatures are cooler and there’s a breeze all rooms should be fine. If it’s very hot and muggy etc. I don’t think the ceiling fans and standing fans are sufficient for real comfort.

There is quite frequent power outages so when the fans go off it becomes a sauna.

The only thing was the fridge was leaking a lot of water, maybe it needs to be checked out as there might be an issue. But overall we were very happy with the stay at Vista 21. Thank you
