Tartaruga Verde Beach House in Ponta Malongane is situated in the Wakene Beach Estate – perched high on the dunes affording breath-taking and endless ocean views.

Styled in a Bali design, this privately owned beach house is tastefully decorated and offers cool airy interiors.

Tartaruga Verde Beach House can accommodate 12 guests in 4 bedrooms. Each of the bedrooms has an en-suite bathroom and private deck furnished with table and 2 chairs. The bedrooms are cooled by ceiling fans and the beds have hotel quality mattresses. Two of the bedrooms have loft rooms accessed by ladder. The loft rooms are ideally suited to children but are spacious enough to accommodate 2 adults.

Leading off the living room is the deck with a private pool. This outdoor area is equipped with all the comforts you will need whilst soaking up the sun and furnished with dining table, patio lounge suite, gazebo, hanging chairs, sun loungers and hammocks.

Tartaruga Verde Beach House has a braai/fire pit fo guests to enjoy social evenings under a star studded sky whilst savouring delicious grilled prawns.

Full payment is required prior to arrival (50% deposit secures and balance is required 1 month prior to arrival). If arrival is within 31 days, then full payment is required

Minimum Stay
During low season a minimum stay of 2 nights is required.
During high season a minimum stay of 4 nights is required.
During peak season a minimum stay of 6 nights is required.

Long Weekends: A minimum value of 6 people per night is required.

Service Fee
R125.00 once off service fee required with deposit payment

Cleaning Fee
R150.00 – Cleaning fee per day. Please pay housekeeper in cash prior to departure.

Breakage Deposit
R2 000.00 – Refundable breakage deposit is required with the balance of payment. This will be refunded within 14 days, pending any losses/breakages reported.

• The maximum capacity of the house may not be exceeded
• Please bring all patio cushions in if rain is expected (store in dining room corner)
• The toilet operates off a septic tank, please do not through foreign object into the toilet bowl (use bags provided).
• Please rinse off sea sand before using the pool. Outside shower available for use.
• Please do not run the ice machine all the time unnecessarily, rather fill plastic ice trays provided in upright freezer (the power surges in Mozambique damage electrical appliances).
• Tap water is not suitable for drinking, only use bottled water in the ice machine.
• Please only store fishing bait in the chest freezer and not the upright freezer.
• Book exchange welcome. If you wish to take one of the novels with you please replace with one of your own.
• Large coffee table books may not to be exchanged or removed.

We had a great time in Tartaruga – it’s a beautiful house and very well equipped. We’ll be going there again.
