Perched high on the dune, Mar e Sol House 14 has views over the sparkling bay below. This inviting 4-bedroom home comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests, making it ideal for families or small groups seeking a relaxing coastal escape.
The air-conditioned living area comprises a well kitted kitchen, lounge/dining and a spacious deck with a gas braai and outdoor dining area. The lounge has a TV with a DVD player (no DSTV).

Although there are 4 bedrooms, only a maximum of 6 guests are permitted. The bedrooms are air-conditioned and there are 2 bathrooms (one with a bath the other with a shower).

Full payment is required prior to arrival. A 50% deposit secures and the balance is required 1 month prior to arrival.

Breakage Deposit
A refundable R1,500.00 cash breakage deposit will be required on check in. Please remember to collect your breakage deposit on departure. If not collected, the deposit will be forfeited.

- No smoking permitted inside the house.
- Guests shall be responsible to the lodge for any damage to premises, furniture or other objects and for the removal of any item from the premises.
- Cleaners will clean bathrooms, make the beds and sweep the floors. Should guests require additional tasks, please arrange with the manager.
- Border Transfers to Mar E Sol are available on request for non 4×4 vehicles (safe parking at the border for approximately R60.00 per day)
- Kosi Bay Border opens at 08h00 and closes at 17h00
- Fires – Please note that open fires are strictly prohibited
- Malaria – Mozambique is a malaria area, so please visit your GP for anti-malaria meds prior to departing for Mozambique.
- Gas – Please ensure gas ovens and braais are turned off after use.
- Balustrades and Railings – Please do not lean against or sit on any of the balustrades/railings.
- Access to Mar e Sol House 14 is via a fairly steep wooden stairway which may be difficult for the elderly or infirm.
- Parking for this unit is at the top of the complex, a 4×4 or 2×4 with a differential lock is advised to access the top parking area.
- There is a main walkway that leads down to the beach gate.
- Elderly people might find it difficult to reach the house as the house has a lot of stairs to access the house.
- No open fires allowed.
- Mar E Sol is equipped with a wash bay and enough space should you wish to bring a boat.
