Mar Azul House 1B is a spacious holiday house in Ponta Malongane, situated on the front row of houses within the exclusive Mar Azul Estate.

Large enough to accommodate 16 people, this enormous house boasts 7 bedrooms, all with magnificent sea views. Five of the bedrooms have king size beds and the remaining two bedrooms each have a bunk bed (with a double below and a single above).

The house has 5 bathrooms, 3 of which are en-suite with showers, the additional two bathrooms are located upstairs, one with a shower and one with a bath.

Bedrooms 6 & 7 – Each has 2 x bunk beds (double bed at the bottom and a single bed on top)

The bright and airy open plan kitchen and living areas open onto a large wooden deck with patio furniture, a private swimming pool and stunning 180 degree sea views. The deck has a coal braai.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes modern conveniences such as a 4 hob electric stove & oven, a washing machine, 3 fridge/freezers and 2 chest deep freezers.

There are 2 full time housekeepers who will make sure the house is clean and tidy during your stay at Mar Azul House 1B. The house is also equipped with a generator for use during power outages.

Ponta Malongane is a popular holiday destination as the Kosi Bay border is approximately a short and scenic 5 hour drive from Durban, or 8 hours from Johannesburg.

Full payment is required prior to arrival (50% deposit secures and balance is required 1 month prior to arrival). If arrival is within 31 days, then full payment is required

Minimum Stay
During low and high seasons a minimum stay of 2 nights is required. During peak season there is a minimum stay of 7 nights

Breakage Deposit
R5 000.00 – A refundable breakage deposit is required with the balance of payment. This will be refunded within 14 days, pending any losses/breakages reported.

Staff Fee
R200.00 – Please pay each of the housekeepers R100 per day. Please pay staff in cash prior to departure (fee to include your day of arrival and departure)

Late Check Out
Check in is from 14h00 and check out before 10h00.
R1 500.00 – Late check outs at 3.00pm may be arranged in advance, provided no guests are arriving on your departure date. If a booking is received to arrive on your departure date, the late check out will be cancelled and the payment refunded with the breakage deposit.
R1 000.00 – Guests who check out after 3.00pm will have an additional R1,000 deducted from the breakage deposit.
