Dune Cottage in Ponta do Ouro is located in the Phambuka Resort, a relaxed resort set high above the shoreline. With panoramic 180° sea views from the patio and the soothing sound of waves day and night, this spacious cottage is the perfect spot to unwind, recharge and soak up the coastal magic.

Dune Cottage is comfortable, casual and made for barefoot living. Equipped for self-catering and ideal for families or a group of friends. The elevated setting gives you those incredible views, but please note that there are many stairs, so it’s not suitable for guests with mobility challenges.

The open plan living area comprises a lounge with TV, dining area and a basic kitchenette, equipped with a fridge, 2 plate cooker, crockery and essential utensils. The private pool is just a step away from the lounge and there is also an outdoor braai area, just because no coastal holiday is complete without it!

There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, the main is en-suite. Each bedroom has a fan and mosquito nets to keep the evenings cool and peaceful.

High & Peak Season

Minimum Stay
During low and high seasons a minimum stay of 2 nights is required. During peak season there is a minimum stay of 7 nights

Service Fee
R125.00 once off service fee required with deposit payment

The cleaning fee is included in the rate. Please tip the staff for their service

• 4×4 Vehicle required (border transfers for non 4×4 vehicles are available)
• The tar road ends at the market. From the market SUV’s with 2 wheel drive and a diff lock will be sufficient to access Phambuka Resort.
• Kosi Bay Border opens at 08h00 and closes at 17h00
• No fireworks permitted (many of the houses are constructed from wood)
• The maximum capacity of the chalet may not be exceeded.
• The swimming pool is unfenced. Please be vigilant with guests who are non-swimmers.
