Phambuka Resort in Ponta do Ouro provides both camping and affordable, rustic self-catering accommodation in a variety of houses, cottages and chalets. The resort is located approximately 1km from the centre of town.

Phambuka Resort is divided into 3 areas, Beach Camp, Bush Camp and Forest Camp. All the camp sites have power points, communal ablutions and shady areas.

The Beach Camp is situated approximately 50-100m from the beach (steep walk back up the dune) with plenty of shade and power points on each site as well as a communal kitchen for campers to share.

The Forest Camp is ideally suited to off road trailers and caravans. Both the Forest Camp Sites and the Bush Camp sites are situated approximately 550m from the beach.

The self-catering units are located in both the Forest Camp and the Beach Camp.

The cottages have kitchens which are equipped with basic self-catering requirments. All the cottages in the beach camp have seaviews.

The studio units comprise of a single room with a kitchenette, bed, bathroom an a patio.

The self-catering units in the Beach Camp are within 40m of the beach, some of which have direct beach access and sea views. These units range from cosy 2 sleeper units to 4 bedroom (9 sleeper) cottages.

A swimming pool which is located near the Bush Camp is available for use by all guests. A viewing deck at the Beach Camp overlooks the ocean where guests enjoy socializing after a long hard day at the beach!

Dune Cottage, which has 3 bedrooms and can accommodate 7 people, has a private pool.

The restaurant and bar, Sapphire Sands, is situated at the Beach Camp. Guests can enjoy an ice cold beverage and a delicious meal from the restaurant’s deck overlooking endless ocean views.
