Makana 10A is a stunning double-storey beach house in Ponta Mamoli, a short stroll from the renowned Frederico’s Bay snorkelling spot.

This relaxed beach house can accommodate 8 people in 4 air-conditioned, en-suite bedrooms. In addition, there is a guest bathroom downstairs.

The living area comprises an open plan kitchen, a lounge with a selection of books and games for guests to enjoy. There is a TV in the lounge, but it is not connected to DSTV. However, guests can stream using the Wi-Fi provided. There is also a guest bathroom downstairs.

Large glass sliders lead from the living area to the large wooden deck with a rimflow pool overlooking the shimmering ocean below. There is a steep stairway to the beach (approximately 60-80 stairs).

There is a braai area that has a built-in charcoal/wood braai and there is an outside shower to rinse off after a day on the beach.

Don’t forget your snorkelling gear for some epic underwater fun at Frederico’s Bay!

Full payment is required prior to arrival (50% deposit secures and balance is required 1 month prior to arrival). If arrival is within 31 days, then full payment is required

Minimum Stay
During low and high seasons a minimum stay of 4 nights is required.

Service Fee
R125.00 once off service fee required with deposit payment

Breakage Deposit
R4 000.00 – A refundable breakage deposit is required with the balance of payment. This will be refunded within 14 days, pending any losses/breakages reported.

Staff Fee
R150.00 per day. Please pay housekeeper in cash prior to departure. Payment to include your arrival and departure date.
There is no fee for the groundsman, however a gratuity would be welcome.

Late Check Out
Check in is from 14h00 and check out before 10h00.
R1 500.00 – Late check outs at 3.00pm may be arranged in advance, provided no guests are arriving on your departure date. If a booking is received to arrive on your departure date, the late check out will be cancelled.
R1 000.00 – Guests who check out after 3.00pm will have an additional R1 000 deducted from the breakage deposit.

• Hot Tub – Makana 10A is constructed from wood. Fire is a real hazard and must never be made in an uncontrolled manner. Wood is provided for the first hot tub session. Thereafter, the Groundsman will supply wood at R35 per bundle. It is very important not to overheat the hot tub, as excessive heat can cause damage. Please co-ordinate the lighting of the tub with the Groundsman.
• The swimming pool and hot tub at Makana 10A have no safety features. Use of the swimming pool & tub and the associated amenities and facilities is strictly at your own risk.
• There is no washing machine, but staff will handwash clothing.
• Regret, no Pets permitted
• There is a steep stairway to the beach (approximately 60-80 stairs).
• 4×4 Vehicle is Required
• No smoking permitted in the house
• Back-Up Generator (small – will run lights only)
• No loud music, parties or functions allowed (strictly no noise after 10pm).
• Check In from 14h00 and Check Out before 10h00. A day fee of R1 500 will be charged if guests check out/in outside of above times.
• No fireworks permitted (many of the houses are constructed from wood).
• The maximum capacity of the house may not be exceeded.
