Kangela 13 is a marvellous self-catering house in Ponta Malongane which can accommodate 10 guests.

Kangela Estate is an upmarket gated estate in Southern Mozambique, surrounded by a forest of indigenous shrubs and situated on a pristine private beach.

Kangela 13 has 5 bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms and cooled by ceiling fans. The bedrooms are located upstairs and all open onto the communal balcony with views over the blue ocean. The house can accommodate a maximum of 10 people. Two additional children may be accommodated at additional cost.

The spacious living areas are located downstairs. The open plan lounge features a flat screen TV with DSTV and music system. The large deck leading from the lounge has a private swimming pool, a games room with pool table and a private walkway to the beach.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering including a gas stove, double eye level oven and a separate scullery.

The games room with pool table is situated in a separate building at the pool deck. In addition, a private sitting area on the walkway to the beach is the perfect spot to enjoy refreshing sundowners, glorious sunsets and to watch the antics of the whales during the winter months.

Full payment is required prior to arrival (50% deposit secures and balance is required 1 month prior to arrival). If arrival is within 31 days, then full payment is required

Minimum Stay
During low and high seasons a minimum stay of 4 nights is required. During peak season there is a minimum stay of 7 nights

Service Fee
R125.00 once off service fee required with deposit payment

Breakage Deposit
R4,000.00 – Refundable breakage deposit will be required with your balance of payment. This will be refunded within 14 days of departure, pending any breakages/losses.

Staff Cleaning Fee
R225.00 – Please pay the housekeeper R150 per day and the groundsman R75 per day. Please pay them in cash prior to departure (payment to include arrival and departure days).

Late Check Out
Check in is from 14h00 and check out before 10h00.
R1 500.00 – Guests may check out at 15h00 (by prior arrangement) provided no guests are arriving on your departure date. If a booking is received to arrive on your departure date, the late check out will be cancelled and the payment refunded with the breakage deposit.
R1 000.00 – Guests who check out after 15h00 will have an additional R1,000 deducted from the breakage deposit.

• 4×4 Vehicle required to access Kangela Estate
• The ignitor on the gas braai does not work. Ignite the braai from underneath with one of the ‘click’ gas igniters. The same goes for the gas hob in the kitchen.
• No Wood or Charcoal Fires/Braais permitted
• Filtered drinking water is available from the small tap at the Prep sink, please ensure that you turn the tap off after use.
• There is a Wi-Fi modem in the house and you can buy a sim card and airtime in the village. The housekeeper can assist you with data purchase and loading the airtime.
• The housekeeper will keep the bottom drawer in the freezer filled with ice

House was very clean, amazing ocean views, very comfortable facilities and a very helpful staff. I recommend to anyone that wants to switch off from real life.
