Baleia Azul 11 is a beautiful self-catering house situated in Ponta Mamoli. This large house can accommodate a total of 16 people and all bedrooms and living area overlook the ocean.

The accommodation is built lodge style, with 4 cottages (bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and small patio) separate to the main living area.

The main living area houses the living room with DSTV, bar, kitchen, dining, pool and spacious patio with outdoor dining table. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a large fridge/freezer, gas hob and electric oven, dishwasher, tumble dryer and washing machine (operated by staff only).

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and all cleaning materials are supplied. There is a large fridge/freezer, chest freezer, 5 gas hob stove, and electric oven, dishwasher, tumble dryer and washing machine (only the housekeeper can operate the washing machine). You will need to take your own washing powder with. In addition, there is a flat bottomed cast iron pot as well as a 3 legged potjie pot.

The 4 separate bedroom suites/cottages each have a loft room with 2 single mattresses for the children (each loft room is 1.5m high), en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning, small fridge, coffee station and small private deck with stunning sea views. The loft rooms do not have mosquito nets.

For your enjoyment, Baleia Azul 11 has a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, a charcoal braai (with potjie pot) and boma area.

Frederico’s (the area’s renowned snorkelling spot) is situated in front of the property – take own snorkelling gear for a great experience!

Full payment is required prior to arrival (50% deposit secures and balance is required 1 month prior to arrival). If arrival is within 31 days, then full payment is required

Service Fee
A R75.00 service fee (non-refundable) is required with deposit payment

Breakage Deposit
R4,000.00 – Refundable breakage deposit will be required with your balance of payment. This will be refunded within 7 days of departure, pending any breakages/losses.

Staff Fee
R160.00 per day compulsory, daily staff tip (R80 per staff member per day) – this includes your day of arrival and departure.
The house has a full-time housekeeper and groundsman that work at the house. If you are more than 10 people an extra housekeeper is brought in. The extra housekeeper is to be paid R80 per day, including your arrival and departure dates.

Late Check Out
Check in is from 14h00 and check out before 10h00.
R1 500.00 – Late check outs at 3.00pm may be arranged in advance, provided no guests are arriving on your departure date. If a booking is received to arrive on your departure date, the late check out will be cancelled and the payment refunded with the breakage deposit.
R1 000.00 – Guests who check out after 3.00pm will have an additional R1,000 deducted from the breakage deposit.

Entry Permit
An entry and exit permit will be required to enter the estate. The cost of the permit is R100 and will be refunded on departure.

• No noise after 10.30pm (including loud music, loud splashing in the pool and loud voices).

Overall stay was good. Stunning view of the ocean. House well furnished with all we needed. However, due to the heavy rain, there was some water leaks during the night inside the accommodations, over the beds and bedside tables. Also Jacuzzi hot function was not working.
