Kangela 11 is a self-catering holiday house in Ponta Malongane, situated in the upmarket Kangela Estate, 16km from the Kosi Bay border.

Kangela 11 sleeps 13 guests comfortably and has 5 bedrooms.

The living area is located upstairs and comprises a lounge with DSTV, large open plan kitchen with ample fridge and freezer space, coffee plunger, blender, microwave oven and a reverse osmosis water filter.

The outdoor area at Kangela 11 has a spacious deck with breath-taking seaviews. The deck is furnished with patio furniture and sun loungers. There is a built-in charcoal braai and also a gas and Weber braai (gas is provided).

The lower deck leads to the private pool in front of the house. There is also a fire pit with log seats to enjoy the special ambiance with friends and family.

Kangela 11 has an undercover parking for 3 cars and shaded parking for 2 additional vehicles. There is also a generator available and fuel will be provided.

Full payment is required prior to arrival (50% deposit secures and balance is required 1 month prior to arrival). If arrival is within 31 days, then full payment is required.

Minimum Stay
During low and high seasons a minimum stay of 3 nights is required. During peak season there is a minimum stay of 7 nights.

Service Fee
R125.00 once off service fee required with deposit payment

Breakage Deposit
R4,000.00 – Refundable breakage deposit will be required with your balance of payment. This will be refunded within 7 days of departure, pending any breakages/losses.

Staff Cleaning Fee
R225.00 – Please pay the housekeeper R150 per day and the groundsman R75 per day. Please pay them in cash prior to departure (payment to include arrival and departure days).

Late Check Out
Check in is from 14h00 and check out before 10h00.
R1 500.00 – Late check outs at 3.00pm may be arranged in advance, provided no guests are arriving on your departure date. If a booking is received to arrive on your departure date, the late check out will be cancelled and the payment refunded with the breakage deposit.
R1 000.00 – Guests who check out after 3.00pm will have an additional R1,000 deducted from the breakage deposit.

• The pool interior is painted yellow, which may cause the water to appear green in photos, however the water is always clean and well maintained.
• 4×4 Vehicle Required
• No smoking permitted in the house
• Should the property be booked by a group of young adults, kindly note no under 25’s permitted without parental/adult supervision.
• This house may not be used for any function or event under any circumstances — including birthdays, weddings, parties, or gatherings of any kind.
• To ensure all guests and neighbours have a peaceful and relaxing holiday, there is a strict NO NOISE policy between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM. Failure to comply will result in a warning. If the issue occurs again after a warning, the full breakage deposit will be forfeited. Continued non-compliance may result in guests being asked to vacate the property immediately, with no refund for any unused nights.
• Please thoroughly wash/rinse off all tanning lotions/oils before making use of the bathroom towels as well as bed linen. The oils stain the linen and towels and will need to be replaced at your own cost.
• No fireworks permitted (many of the houses are constructed from wood)
• No pets permitted
• The maximum capacity of the house may not be exceeded.
• Balustrades and Railings – please do not lean against or sit on any of the balustrades/railings

We really love this house and the staff there is are particularly pleasant, always smiling and very helpful.

The house is great, very well furnished.

There is though a lack of hot water pressure in the bathroom for one of the room downstairs, and the mosquito doors are a bit “tired” if I may say.

But overall, this house is awesome, one of our favourite in this estate.

The house is great!

Some maintenance needed especially on the sliding doors and windows. Need replacement of some of the windows nets!

The house itself was a great surprise! First with the unusual position of rooms versus social area, that proved to be a very wise choice!

The staff is very polite and helpful!
