Dream Beach Ponta Anri’s Cottage – Unwind Under the Trees, Just Steps from the Beach

Tucked away in a large, wooded estate between Ponta do Ouro and Ponta Malongane, Anri’s Cottage is one of five private units at Dream Beach Lodge.

Anri’s Cottage is a modern and immaculate unit, finished in soft grey tones with crisp white linen. Polished wooden floors add warmth to this cosy retreat, which accommodates 4 guests in 2 bedrooms. Each bedroom features its own en-suite bathroom with shower and is fitted with air-conditioning. The first bedroom offers a double bed, while the second is furnished with two single beds.

The cottage features an open-plan design with a lounge, dining area, and a neat, practical kitchen. Guests will find everything they need, including a fridge/freezer, oven/hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, and sufficient crockery and utensils.

Sliding doors open onto a wooden deck with a built-in braai, shaded by tall trees that create a tranquil environment for relaxing outdoor dining.

For lazy evening or rainy day entertainment, the cottage includes a TV with OpenView so gets can keep with their favourite shows and sporting events.

Guests staying at Dream Beach Anri’s Cottage can enjoy a refreshing dip in the guest pool and social braais at the lapa. There are no sea views from the cottage, but the beach is a short 300-350m walk from the cottage.

The rate for Anri’s Cottage includes a cleaning service and there is a manager to assist with any requests or advice you may need.

The lively seaside village of Ponta offers something for everyone – from restaurants and pubs to adventure operators who host beach activities like scuba diving and dolphin swimming. The bustling market adds to the charm, with stalls selling sarongs, fresh seasonal produce, yummy prawns, airtime, homemade bread and the legendary (and strong!) Tipo Tinto Rum.

Full payment is required prior to arrival (50% deposit secures and balance is required 1 month prior to arrival). If arrival is within 30 days, then full payment is required.

Minimum Stay
During low and high seasons a minimum stay of 2 nights is required. During peak season there is a minimum stay of 7 nights.

R250.00 per extra bed per night (maximum 1 extra bed permitted)

Service Fee
R125.00 once off service fee required with deposit paymentay

• 4×4 Vehicles required (a 2×4 vehicle with diff lock and high ground clearance will also suffice. Border transfers from Kosi Bay border can be arranged at own cost for non 4×4 vehicles which may be safely parked at the Kosi Bay border).

• No pets permitted

• Noise level cut off is 22h00 (no loud music, loud voices/shouting or loud pool splashing after 22h00)
• Check in from 13h00 to 16h00 and Check out before strictly 10h00
• No fireworks permitted (many of the houses are constructed from wood)
• The maximum capacity of the chalet may not be exceeded
• Dream Beach Anri’s Cottage does not have Wi-Fi. Guests are advised to buy a local SIM card and data. Either insert the SIM into your mobile phone, a spare phone or a mobile router so that you can connect to the internet and Wi-Fi.
• The swimming pool on the property is for the enjoyment of all guests staying at Dream Beach Lodge. The pool is not fenced and does not have any safety features. Please be vigilant with non-swimmers.
