Serenity Ponta Beach House in Ponta Malongane is a beautifully styled holiday home suitable for 8 adults and 2 children (not younger than 5 years).

Situated 60m from the beach which is accessed by a wooden boardwalk, Serenity Ponta Beach House is located in the Boa Vida Estate, 4km north of Ponta Malongane in a lush milkwood forest.

This house oozes charm!

Serenity Ponta Beach House comprises 4 spacious air-conditioned bedrooms. Bedroom 1, the Master Suite, is detached and in a separate building, 2m from the main house. Two bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and two bedrooms share a bathroom with a shower.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering including gas stove, fridge/freezer, microwave, blender and kettle. There is also a gas braai on the deck for guests to make use of.

The living area has a TV with DVD player. There is open view TV but please bring own DSTV decoder and smart card. There is a TV in each house. There is signal booster and a router for you to put your Moz sim card in for wi-fi and connection to the android TV in the master suite and the smart TV in the main house.

Guests staying in the Boa Vida estate may make use of facilities (restaurant, bar and pool) at Hotel Phaphalati – situated on the same estate.

A 4×4 vehicle is required to access the house, alternatively border transfers can be arranged from the Kosi Bay border.

The house has magnificent seaviews from the deck, where guests can enjoy watching the waves gently rolling into shore. Here you can enjoy all the comforts of home whilst watching the dolphins and whales in the beautiful Ponta Malongane bay. It truly is …Serenity!

Note
Full payment is required prior to arrival (50% deposit secures and balance is required 1 month prior to arrival). If arrival is within 31 days, then full payment is required.

Minimum Stay
During low season a minimum stay of 3 nights is required

Service Fee
R125.00 once off service fee required with deposit payment

Breakage Deposit
R3 000.00 – Refundable breakage deposit is required with the balance of payment. This will be refunded within 7 days, pending any losses/breakages reported.

The staff cleaning fee is included in the rate. Please tip staff for their service.

• Depending on the number of guests, you will either be accommodated in the main house with the kitchen and downstairs room if you are 2 people, otherwise you will have the full use of both detached units during your stay if you book for 3 or more adults. But either way, you will have private use of the house.
• The borehole water is filtered, but please bring your own water if you don’t like the brownish colour.
• There is a TV in each house. There is signal booster and a router for you to put your Moz sim card in for wi-fi and connection to the android TV in the master suite and the smart TV in the main house.
• You can get a Moz sim card for the router at any cell phone shack on the side of the road in Malongane or at the market in Ponta – take your passport and make sure they convert all the airtime to data for you.
• A 4×4 vehicle will be required from the border to get to the estate. If you do not have a 4×4, there is safe parking at the border on the SA side (for approximately R50 a day) and you can make prior arrangements for transfers to the estate in Mozambique.
• The house is not suitable for children younger than 5 years (high decks).
• No smoking permitted in the unit
• No loud music, parties or functions allowed (strictly no noise after 10pm).
• Check in from 14h00 and Check out before strictly 10h00
• No fireworks permitted
• The maximum capacity of the house may not be exceeded.
