Mar Azul 27A is situated on the highest point of the estate and consists of 4 separate units, all fully air-conditioned.

Three of the units are en-suite bedrooms, each with a private outside shower with hot running water. Each bedroom unit has a queen size bed, a mini bar fridge and a en-suite bathroom. Two extra mattresses can be arranged, so the house can sleep a total of 6 adults and 2 kids under the age of 12.

The 4th unit is the communal living area comprising the kitchen and air-conditioned lounge. The kitchen is fully kitted for self-catering and has a microwave, electric oven, 4 plate gas stove and dishwasher. The spacious wooden deck outside the lounge area has sun loungers and a gas barbeque.

The store room has a chest freezer, fridge, washing machine and tumble dryer.

Cleaning services are available (to be pre-arranged) at an additional charge per day.

Mar Azul House 27A is not suitable for small children or the elderly. There are approximately 180 steps leading up to the house from the car park and the bedrooms each have separate entrances accessed by walkways with high railings.

Full payment is required prior to arrival (50% deposit secures and balance is required 1 month prior to arrival). If arrival is within 31 days, then full payment is required

Minimum Stay
During low and high seasons a minimum stay of 2 nights is required. During peak season there is a minimum stay of 7 nights

Service Fee
R125.00 once off service fee required with deposit paymentay

Breakage Deposit
R3 000.00 – Refundable breakage deposit is required with the balance of payment. This will be refunded within 14 days, pending any losses/breakages reported.

Late Check Out
No late check out permitted. If guests check out after 10h00, the full refundable breakage deposit will be retained by the owner.

Staff Fee
R50.00 – Daily fee for on site manager. Should guests require a cleaning lady for R100 per day, this must be arranged prior to arrival. Please pay staff in cash prior to departure (payment to include arrival and departure days).

• Please note that Mar Azul House 27A is not suitable for small children or elderly guests. Each of the bedrooms are individually accessed and the house has railings which are not safe for children. Furthermore, as the house is at the back of the estate, there are approximately 180 steps leading from the car park to the house.
• There is no DSTV or Wi-Fi
• The units also do not have mosquito nets on the beds – please bring mosquito repellent.
• Please do not leave any alcohol behind for staff.
• Please note that due to the expenses and logistics of getting items over the border, keeping the home perfectly stocked all the time is sometimes difficult and challenging. We therefore kindly request guests to bring their specific items e.g. sharp knives, coffee plunger, braai tongs, etc.
• 4×4 Vehicle Required
• No Pets Permitted (deep cleaning costs will be deducted from breakage deposit)
• No smoking permitted in the house
• No loud music, parties or functions allowed (strictly no noise after 10pm).
• Check in from 14h00 and Check out before strictly 10h00
• No fireworks permitted (many of the houses are constructed from wood)
• The maximum capacity of the house may not be exceeded.
